Hey, this is Tonja Taylor! I’d love to help your kids enjoy learning things that will educate and edify them for life. As humans, we are ever learning something –even if we don’t realize it. As I’ve told my daughter and thousands of other kiddos (including those of adult age) through the years, let’s purpose to put GOOD things into ourselves!
With over 35 year’s cumulative experience teaching kids in public and private schools, in churches, community events, online, and in private lessons, I know how to lovingly engage young learners and draw out their creativity, helping them think bigger, higher, deeper!
My diverse experience in education, business, writing, and music; a Bachelor’s degree and Masters of Arts in Teaching hours, plug, an incurable delight in interacting with young ones (MOST moments, anyway!) has prepared me to be able to teach kids from 3-103.
Having served as a full-time teacher in public schools, I am very familiar with the pressures teachers face, and have numerous presentations available that can be customized! There is much darkness in the world, and I much prefer to stay positive, to take a light-hearted approach. I think we all need to laugh more, and I believe when we have fun, the learning sticks.
I am also very familiar with the book-writing and publishing process. I have self-published over 20 books, including The Adventures of Princess Pearl, P.O.W.E.R. (Purposeful Operations With Eternal Rewards) Girl! Book One, and have published over 400 articles (including in glossy magazines, periodicals, and online), 4 Christian websites, and more. In addition, I have written over 300 songs and published some of those.

Royalty Rising! Tonja K. Taylor loves helping kids think like the princes and princesses they are, and especially while having fun! Her motto is, “Royalty will rise in every child when it is recognized.” I base this on I Peter 2:9, among other Scriptures: 9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own [a]purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. — I Peter 2:9, AMPC
I give God all the glory, for without Him, I am and can do nothing! He has called me to write and teach, and I am so delighted and thankful!

Girl (Books One-Eight); Syzygus the Word Bird; My Brother the King; The King’s Horse; and Spirit Songs and Stories. Her presentations are engaging, witty, and warm. She helps kids laugh, believe in themselves, and think more deeply. She teaches them to wonder and explore, to discover and develop what they know and think, and why–then express it in unique ways. She also enjoys engaging the kids in singing, with her catchy original tunes and more.
Excerpt from The Adventures of Princess Pearl, P.O.W.E.R.* (Purposeful Operations With Eternal Rewards) Girl Book One: “Mother,” announced ten-year-old Pearl one day, “I wanna be a princess. I want to wear a royal gown and robe, with rainbows full of sparkles and waterfalls of glittering gold. And of course wear a royal crown, full of glittering jewels, and sleep in a royal bed full of silky things, princess-and-pea style, and have a royal pooch–power black, very small, with a royal ‘tude.’ I want to ride a royal horse–a white majestic Lipizzan! I want to go on royal adventures to the beach and the mountains and the forest and the mall and by car and train and plane and bike, and treat my friends to royal feasts, and say, ‘Won’t you come to tea?’ That’s all. When can I start?”
Her mother dried her hands and bent down to look into the lovely green eyes of her only daughter. She smiled, hugged Pearl, then said, “Why, you can start today, darling girl. Yes, you can start today to prepare to meet The King.”
Pearl was suddenly a lot excited, but a little nervous also. There must be more to this princess thing than I thought…. –– excerpt from The Adventures of Princess Pearl, P.O.W.E.R.* Girl Book One
